This was nowhere near the game that the score suggests and we were the more complete team. It will always be difficult against Uni sides, they are just all the wrong age! Older than our young players and younger, considerably in some cases, than our older players. But they were not the team that we were. We played the first half with only 10 men and went into half time only 1-0 down. That was a very credible effort by the team with our passing game and work rate causing them difficulties. After the break they scored early and added another, it did not look good with 30 mins to go and 3-0 down. But up this team is tough and now up to 11 and fought back with Kaiser Wong scoring a cracker off a reverse stick strike and then again with a dink over the line. We became stretched as we looked for the third goal and they managed to score after breakaways and shorts to wrack up 3 more. It was not a fair reflection on our effort or our teamwork.
