Another case of being the better team, if only just this week. Stourport sit second in the league and we were at them for the whole game. Unfortunatly their keeper played a blinder! One of their players said but for him we could have been 4-0 up by half time. They are an experienced team but our youth (including Tom and Craig) served us well snapping in for tackles and not giving them time to settle and boss the game. They were a threat and Paul Dunne played excently to deny them opportunities. Mark Hiles was his usual steady self on the right of defence with Henry and Dom Dixon looking after the right. In a strange position Captian Chris played centre back and was surprisingly (to myself) effective. The front line mostly Mike and Gabe hasselled and harried and created chances. It certainly is not fair for us to have no points, we are actually playing well but key to that is that we are enjoying our hockey and playing as a team. To some extent the results do not matter , our performances belie our results.
