U12 boys march into Warwickshire finals

Well done to our U12 boys who have made it into the Warwickshire finals. The boys came second in their group at the qualifying tournament last weekend and this weekend will be playing for a chance to be crowned Warwickshire champions. If you’d like to cheer them on, the finals tournament is being held at Old Sils hockey club on Sunday 22nd, and their first game is 3.25.

A big thank you to Warwick Sports who have sponsored new bibs for our junior section to use. The bibs got their first outing today at a tournament at Edgbaston, where our under 10s sported a fetching pink, the u12 girls stood out in neon green and our u12 boys looked smart in a royal blue. Ladies – want to play hockey?!

We’re running 4 ladies’ Back to Hockey sessions, starting next Sunday (16th November). These sessions are for ladies who want to give hockey a go – you might not have picked up a stick in years, or might never have played the sport, but if you like the idea of playing, then these sessions are for you! Our men’s cup experience

Our men’s 1st team travelled to Nottingham to take on National Premier League side Beeston in the cup. Beeston, who last year won the National League play off championships last season, rested some of their top players and yet still fielded a side featuring 14 players with international caps at junior and/or senior level in England, Ireland or USA.
