Our very own Jean Scott Miller has been selected for the England Masters hockey squad that will compete in an international tournament in France in March.
Jean is currently captain of Hampton’s 2nd team and her knowledge and experience will also come in handy for England, as she has been chosen to captain the Over 55s team, which will also compete in the European masters championships in Ireland later this year.
Jean has previously played for England masters’ squads, and is delighted to have been selected again. She said: “It is a complete honour to play for my country, and to be chosen as captain just makes it even more special. I’m proud to be able to represent Hampton-in-Arden hockey on an international stage, and can’t wait for the tournaments to start!”.
