Over the summer it was our veteran players taking the representative honours, but now it’s the turn of our juniors.

Congratulations to Hampton juniors, Grace Jeyes, Iwan Doherty and Barney Dowson, who have been selected for the JRPC Tier 1 cluster competitions.

Players are selected to attend JRPCs, or Junior Regional Performance Centres, based on the talent and dedication they have shown at Junior Development Centres and Junior Academy Centres which are held througout the hockey season and are part of what is known as the ‘Single System’ for junior players in England. The cluster competition teams are made up of players selected from the JRPC groups, and so Grace, Iwan and Barney should be very proud of their achievements.

Good luck to all three in their competitions.
