Readers know the word is progress and I am pleased to report progress this week. Despite being pushed hard by a keen Redditch team we came away with a win, a first n four games. We had to fight for it but fight we did. We started well enough going two up early in the game (me and Tom) but they scored a lucky deflected goal and that got their tail up. We started the second half well enough scoing again before they came back strongly to equal at 3-3. We continued to attack and won another short. This time no messing from JD and a cracking goal. We changed our positions around to shore up our defence and saw the game out. We had patches of excellent play and passing and do look like a side who are improving. We now have a run of games to see the season out and to see how we progress.
