Progress dear friends progress! Stratford beat us 5-3 in the opening weeks of the season so a 2-2 draw is an improvement, but oh how this one hurts. We dominated the game and were well worth a win. We were 2-0 up at half time (goals by Tom Norrington and Nigel Pond) and 2-0 up with only 7 to go. On one of their rare attacks the ball looped toward the goal, in a moment of madness I headed the ball (I had my helmet on) only for one of theirs to swipe at it and the ball to dribble over the line. They won a short in the dying embers of the game and scored from that. But there are many positive and obvious progress, our domination came from some cracking team interplay, confidence on the ball and commitment to the cause. We had many players nominated for MOM, Eshan, Rory, Nigel ansd Craig all stood out. Onwards for the 5s.
