A case of what might have been for our 4s. We were, for a large part of the game, the much better team. In the fist half we created chances in the D but a combination of very good goal keeping and a strong defence kept us from scoring. They looked lively on the break and had a couple of chances but nil nil at half time. In the second half it was much the same, I obvserved most of the game being played in their 25 but their break aways were always dangerous and with 10 minutes to go they fashioned a short. With the sun in our eyes they took great advantage with a flick lob. Although we responded well and again put the pressure on we could find no way through. A Hampton win by three was conceivable, a score draw fair, but the loss was harsh. I am sure the team will convert those chances in other games, they certainly deserved goals on this performance.
