The new season looms and we managed to get a friendly (it genuinely was) against Sills. With three mens hockey debutants in Sebby Broughtton, Seb Gill and Monty Robinson and a very young looking team, I was initially a little concerned especially as they were an older Men’s team who lookeed like they might roll us over. But that was not to be the case. We immediatly attackd and had them pinned back for a long period. Logan  lead the line and caused disruption eventually leading to our first goal. The staged a bit of a comeback but Logan scored again with them ratelling in one to make it 2-1 at the break. The second half was more difficult and they were more in it. MoM Henry steppd up to lead a slid defense before Sebby Broughton scored to give us some breathing space. Owen Morgans put the icing on the cake with a cracker to give us a 4-1 win. It’s a very pleaseing start and one we can look to build on.  Thanks to Jon Horton and Simon Robinson for stepping up to umpire.
