I have only ever played for Hampton cause its the best club in Hampton, and i can get a lift with the fam to the club.
Constant winner of the Holmes Doherty family goal scoring competition despite the rest of the families best attempts.

I've played since I was 12 and joined hampton soon after, moving through 3rds and 2nds until leaving to go to uni. At uni I didn't play much hockey but always intended to come back to hampton once i'd finished. Since then i've taken up where i left of, falling over constantly - a return to the good old days!!!!

Started playing hockey at school aged 10. Played at Brunel University in the 1st team for 2 seasons and a little bit of National League with Indian Gymkhana whilst at Uni.I've been at Hampton for 5 season now. I'm a defender by trade but have a desire that one day I'll be a centre forward.......but we can all dream hey!!

I started playing at hampton in the junior section 6 years ago. Since then i have started playing for the first team and both the social side and the standard of hockey mean that i have enjoyed it all.

I started playing hockey 3 years ago and joined Hampton soon after. For some reason I thought playing in goal was a good idea, after several trips to A&E I'm not so sure. While I spend most of the time letting in goals, getting hit in the head by the ball and just generally being traget practise for Daff, I still kind of enjoy it and can't wait for tour and the rest of the season...

I first started playing hockey at they age of twelve, one year later I started playing for Hampton-In-Arden. After captaining the 2nd XI for a year, I had a year away from the club when I played for Hull University 1st XI. I returned to play for Hampton at the beginning of last season, and after being tempted to leave this season after having to play an entire season with Grafton and half a season with Popplewell, the sheer quality of players that the club possesses convinced me to stay.

Started playing at a very early age, I started at a club in north Wales called Monsanto. While I was there I went on to play for North Wales U14s through to U21s and Wales U15s through to U21s. I then moved to Coventry to go to uni where I played for Coventry and North Warwickshire and Warwickshire U21s and seniors where I won the county championships and came runner up twice. I then went and played national league for Bournville where I was averaging 21 goals a season. After a couple of years my knees stopped me playing and since then I have had several operations on my legs to get it sorted and I am now here at Hampton where I feel at home.

Only got into hockey becuase I couldn't play football at Senior School.... Enjoyed some early years success with caps for England schoolboys at U16 & U18 level making the national press and a photo and article on the back page of the Coventry Evening Telegraph (nice) and played a handful of times for the U21s... Discovered wine women and song and it was downhill from there... Couple of seasons at C&NW in their National League days, but like so many who wander, Hampton is my hockey home. Stopped playing for about 6 years when Jack was born, Vets rejuvenated me and have enjoyed our recent cup runs and the Divisional tournaments and being part of the winning Midlands over 40s side in 2009... Still attempting to be the exception that proves the rule that 'you can't teach old dogs new tricks' and the mind at least remains very willing.... The sense of community that exists at Hampton is like nothing else I have ever experienced, we are very lucky.....

Started playing aged 12 because I wasn't any good at rugby. Tried to leave the club when I went to uni, somehow ended up back at hampton. Tried to take a break from hockey the following season, again somehow ended up back at hampton. Have now accepted it is impossible to leave this club, and cant wait to get promoted back to midlands 1 this season!

Started playing hockey at about age 5 for Sikh Union(!) and then moved on to Coventry and North Warwickshire at age 11. Moved to Hampton at 16 and been playing in the 1st XI since then. Love the club and totally committed to gaining promotion this season

Started playing at Bridgnorth in 1777. Cultivated reverse sweep tackle at Uni in Manchester. Joined Hampton before most of the current members were born!
Oscillated between 1sts and 2nds ever since. Enjoyed Hampton Vets, Midlands Vets and England Masters.

I've been playing since I was 12, firstly just at Bablake School, until a whole group of us were enticed to Hampton training on Tuesday nights. I've always played at Hampton and unfortunately with Poppy most of the time, apart from when I took a one year break playing for Birmingham University. After a fun yet intense season I returned here where I felt I belonged. Since then I have desperately been trying to rediscover any ounce of ability that I may once have had, with a degree of success that varies from week to week!
