Our head coach Jon Doherty has been shortlisted as Coach of the Year in the England Hockey Annual Awards. This is a prestigious achievement for Jon, but one that is very well deserved. Two more Back to Hockey sessions!

We are running two more ‘Back to Hockey’ sessions for ladies, this Sunday 5th May and the Sunday after, 12th May. The sessions are aimed at new female players; both those who used to play and those who have never played before, and are funded by England Hockey. So another season is over. League Champions!!

Congratulations to our men’s 1st team, coached by Jon Doherty and captained by Scott Powell, who have finished top of the West Midlands Premier League this season. The team remained unbeaten all season, with 1 draw and 19 wins and scored 101 goals. We’re very proud of the team which has worked so hard all season, and look forward to celebrating with them at the end of season dinner on 13th April.

England call up for Jean

Our very own Jean Scott Miller has been selected for the England Masters hockey squad that will compete in an international tournament in France in March.   Jean is currently captain of Hampton’s 2nd team and her knowledge and experience will also come in handy for England, as she has been chosen to captain the Over 55s team, which will also compete in the European masters championships in Ireland later this year.   Jean has Read more…
