Juniors celebrate end of season

Posted by Helen Bowles on 5 May 2015

Our juniors celebrated another great season with a party, featuring special guest star, Olympian Sally Walton, a magician, quizzes and a crazy raffle!

Led by head coach Jon, and party planner extraordinaire Clive, our juniors and their family and friends partied at Stonebridge Manor. They were joined by Olympian, and former Hampton junior Sally Walton who gave an inspirational talk reminding everyone to never stop learning or practising (and to say thank you to your mum and dad once in a while!). Sally brough her Olympic bronze medal with her, and we enjoyed trying that on and dreaming of winning one ourselves!

Sally also handed out our trophies to a bunch of well-deserving players.

Our awards aren't necessarily for the best players - we reward effort and attitude and the trophies given out went to players who work hard and who show good spirit both on and off the pitch.

Our trophy winners:
- goalscoring efforts - Adam Wade and Imogen Starling
- girls - Isobel Fennell, Charlotte Pettigrew, India Armstrong, Anna Bent
- boys - Thomas Oswald, Jake Wade, Josh Aspinall, Nathan Wood-Edens

Well done and thank you to everyone for all their efforts this season.  You can see some pictures in our gallery.
