About Us

Hampton-in-Arden Hockey Club is a thriving club with over 150 members, based at the sports ground in Hampton-in-Arden village, only 15 minutes from Coventry and 10 minutes from Balsall Common & Meriden (see below for directions).

We run 4 senior men’s teams, 3 senior ladies’ teams and a badgers’ side (adults and juniors), as well as running teams for vets and mixed hockey. Alongside these we run a rapidly developing junior section, with teams for girls and boys at u9, u11, u13 and u15.

We have an on-site, brand new, floodlit astroturf pitch and a newly refurbished bar area and kitchen facilities.

During the season, the club trains on a Tuesday evening and there are training sessions for our junior members on Sunday mornings.

The club is working towards Clubs First recognition, and already has in place a constitution and set of rules, and a child protection policy.

Location

We are based at Hampton-in-Arden Sports Club - Shadowbrook Lane - Hampton-in-Arden - B92 0DQ

Hampton-in-Arden is in between Coventry and Birmingham and is close to the M42.
Leave the M42 at Junction 6 and get on to the A45 towards Coventry. At the Stonebridge Island (which is underneath the dual carriageway) take the 3rd exit signposted A452 (Balsall Common, Hampton). At the next large roundabout you will turn right towards Hampton-in-Arden. On reaching Hampton-In-Arden find the village green which is situated on the right just past the railway bridge and turn right into Shadowbrook Lane.
The Sports Club entrance is 100 yards on the right at the corner of the road.
